We offer four private rooms with orthopedic queen-size beds, private full bathrooms and high-speed internet connection for your laptop. Included is a vegetarian breakfast with fresh-brewed, locally-grown organic coffee, a mid-afternoon snack, use of the common area, extensive library of books, games, movies and music.
Relax on the veranda, converse with the owners, Luisa and Christopher, take a walk in the adjoining coffee plantations (and pick coffee, just like Juan Valdez during the months of November and December). And if you're interested, join in and do some morning yoga with the Panzer Valdivia family out on the veranda. There is no better way to get your day started (other than possibly that freshly brewed cup of coffee).
And if you are travelling with children, they are more than welcome here. We have two children, ages 6 and 4, who really do play well with others.
For our animal-loving guests, we have a big, friendly Siberian Husky named Rumi. We also have some Guinea Pigs and "miniature lion-faced" rabbits.

Cancellations
• More than 30 days of arrival date: we will refund 50% of your deposit.
• Within 30 days of arrival date, or “no show”: no refunds.
Please understand, we are a small business so cancellations affect us greatly.
Policies
• Children of all ages are welcome, provided parents supervise them at all times.
• Check-out time is 12 noon.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside, on the south end of the property and in consideration of others.
Airport pick up
Airport pick up from Juan Santamaria international airport in Alajuela (SJO) is available for $30 (up to four people). Just send us your flight information.
