DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO CASA AMANECER, SAN RAMON

Driving from the airport, head north on the Panamerican Hwy towards San Ramon.
In about 30-40 minutes you'll see signs for the turn-off.
Turn RIGHT onto the entrance to San Ramon (just after Plaza Occidente), you'll see signs for it.
Once you have exited the highway, continue straight to a traffic light (there will be a gas station on the right).
Continue through the light and stay straight and keep driving through town (being careful to stop at any “alto” signs). Go until you cannot proceed.
At this last “alto” turn LEFT, then RIGHT at the traffic light.
Continue on this road (this is the road to Arenal, Villa Blanca, etc.) Do not make any turns until you ascend a hill right after a gas station on the right.
You will encounter a couple of speed bumps before coming to a BEIGE AND BROWN church (Iglesia de San Juan).
At the church, you will make a right a the “Y”, descend to another speed bump.
Proceed until you reach an “alto” sign. There will be “Bar Occidente” on the far left and a soccer field just beyond.
Continue straight. The road will curve about 90 degrees to the left soon, then descend and curve left fairly abruptly, then it will curve to the right and ascend again.
You will see someone's driveway on the right with two lion statues on the right as you begin ascending.
When you reach the top of the hill, you will see a pay phone and a no parking sign (with an E instead of a P) on the right. Our entrance is just beyond on the left, just as you begin descending. It is an asphalt road, about 60 meters long marked by small Casa Amanecer sign. There's a concrete retaining wall to the left of the road. Be careful because the entrance is in a curve in the road.
Go all the way to the end to the big wooden gate and ring the bell on the right. We have a big stone retaining wall.
